Brief Description
1.Stainless steel wire rope, sometimes called corrosion resistant, is generally used in applications that may degrade a bright wire or galvanized wire rope.
2.The 6x19 Class wire rope is the most common class due to its good combination of flexibility and resistance to wear-and-tear.
3.This diversity makes this wire rope suited for many different kinds of machinery or equipment.
The stainless wire rope offers a good balance of flexibility and wear resistance thanks to an independent wire rope core (IWRC ) which provides added strength, reduces stretch, and provides excellent resistance to heat. An IWRC wire rope does provide more strength than a fiber core wire rope. The stainless steel fabrication offers extra corrosion resistance over a typical bright wire finish, and is also superior to a galvanized wire rope. However, it does not offer any spin-resistant properties as some other wire rope configurations will.
