An IWRC wire rope does provide more strength than a fiber core wire rope. The stainless steel fabrication offers extra corrosion resistance over a typical bright wire finish, and is also superior to a galvanized wire rope. However, it does not offer any spin-resistant properties as some other wire rope configurations will.
